Departure to Nghia Lo through fascinating landscapes: cassava fields, tea plantations, rice fields...Lunch on the road.Arrival at destination, and installation in a wooden house on stilts of the White Thai ethnic group. Bike ride or walk in Thai villages to explore their environment and their daily life.Dinner with the host family.  Homestay Night.
Visit of the market of Nghia Lo. Transfer to Mu Cang Chai by a stunning road surrounded by rice terraces, road listed as National Heritage. Stop at Tu Le valley and walk in this beautiful valley famous for its sticky rice renowned in the country. Lunch on the way.Road through the Khau Pha pass surrounded by clouds. Visit local communities and the famous rice terraces listed as National Heritage of Vietnam. Trekking "off the beaten track" in La Pan Tan on the slopes of mountains, through the fields and villages of the Hmong.  Arrival in the small mountain town of Mu Cang Chai in the late afternoon. Installation in an inhabitant of Thai ethnicity. Homestay dinner and night.
Departure following a road surrounded by rugged mountains and deep ravines in the direction of Than Uyen. The scenery changes quickly with wavy mountains: the famous Hoang Lien Son range, the highest range in Indochina. Photo stop at the Heavenly door and the Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac) before reaching the town of Sapa. Lunch in a local restaurant in Sapa.Direction Muong Hoa valley to the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van (16 km from Sapa) through rice terrace landscapes that make Sapa’s notoriety. Discovery of local life in a Black Hmong hamlet. Dinner in a restaurant in town. Night at hotel.
Road towards a village in the valley and more specifically its ethnic minority market which are attended by most ethnic groups: Hmong, Tay, Nung, Giay…   The markets: Coc Ly (Tuesday), Can Cau (Saturday) or Bac Ha (Sunday). Free time on the market, a real change of scenery! Lunch in a local restaurant.Road back to Hanoi via a brand new road. This spectacular road is surprising by its diversity of landscapes, it starts in the mountain descending slowly towards the valley. Arrival to Hanoi late afternoon. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at hotel.
